Networks Driving Climate Progress, Pt. 1
A look at the 400+ Stanford GSB alums working on climate.
Strong people networks can help us go faster on climate. They feed on their own constructive energy, pulling in more and more talented people to get involved, and then helping them succeed.
And these networks are everywhere. There’s many in China; there’s ones at Oxford University, at MIT, at UC Berkeley, at the U.S. government national labs. There’s the Wall Street ESG/impact investing crowd. The Jay Inslee/Green New Deal and EU policy folks. The Google X alums. The Northern Europe wind power experts. The XR/Insulate/Just Stop Oil activists in England. The list goes on and on.
Here’s one of the most interesting I’ve found: the 400+ Stanford GSB business school alums working on climate. They’re an incredible group of entrepreneurs, investors, corporate, government and non-profit leaders. Including some of the biggest names in climate tech and sustainability, and lots of up and comers too.
Check out my recent deep dive on them and what they’re doing:

Also - what other networks are helping us go faster on climate? Send me any suggestions you have (just hit reply to this email), as I’m planning to dig into this more. Thanks! Dave
